Field Service Engineer

U-Systems, Inc. an automated ultrasound company. We design, develop, manufacture and market innovative ultrasound systems to assist the radiologist in the early detection of breast cancer. The company has developed SomoVu™, an Automated Breast Ultrasound System. The SomoVu is a cost effective, patient friendly solution to provide ultrasound imaging of the breast. It places U-Systems in the leadership position in responding to the needs of women today.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide remote and on-site technical support to Field Service Engineers and customers. Creating service documentation, tracking service issues as well as providing solutions. He/she will also be traveling about 4 days a month outside of San Jose, CA.

Required Skills

Associate's degree in a related science/technical field.

3 years technical support or field service experience (preferably in a medical environment)
Ability to interact with customers on a professional level and empathetic level.
Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
Planning, organizing and leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and leadership

Demonstrated problem solving experience.

Ability to travel a few days per month

Experience with PC repair and basic networking
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook, Salesforce.com
Self starter.
