Production Associate (Transducer Manufacturing)

 

U-Systems Inc. is a privately funded company that develops innovative ultrasound systems to assist in the early detection of breast cancer. The company has developed the SomoV, an automated Breast Ultrasound System, with provides cost effective, patient friendly 3D ultrasound imaging of the breast.

 

Assemble Medical Transducer Modules through various stages of completion including but not limited to, microscope soldering, module assembly, final assembly and various steps of sub-assembly operation. 

Required to work from drawings, bill of materials, standard operating procedures and assembly instructions to perform production tasks.

Preparation and application of various epoxies and chemicals 

Some light mechanical assembly     

Required to set up and operate various process related equipment in the manufacturing process.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent

2-3 years in transducer manufacturing or related process

Basic knowledge of ISO and GMP requirements 

Fine pitch soldering skills using high power microscopes

Experience soldering/wiring fine gauge coaxial cable

Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills

Troubleshooting experience with various meters a plus

Team oriented and willing to perform multiple functions

Proficient computer skills
