The somo.v™ is the result of 10 years of research and development. It methodically scans a woman's breast capturing up to 350 ultrasound images that can be rendered and reviewed in 3D.

The proprietary technology developed by U-Systems, combines several ultrasound frames together to determine and cancel out random variation (noise) and increase signal to noise ratio. The resulting image quality and improved contrast resolution allows for visualization throughout the breast, especially in the Coronal View. This combined with automated acquisition, wide field of view, and Rapid Point of Reference (RPR) provides the clinician many real-time options for reviewing the acquired data.
